 So here is a quick post before I head home to Minnesota!  This post is about Ashley Johnson--She is a wonderful model AND dancer!  Vanessa and I photographed her a while back and then last week we went to her and some of our other wonderful models senior dance showcase.  They were AHHH-MAZING!

The Dance

Wedding dances.  They are one of my favorite parts of the wedding day.  I like to capture the energy of the guests as well as the bride and groom. Another reason why I love it is because I personally, LOVE to dance.  For this reason, I also have the urge to just ditch the camera and hit the dance floor myself.  And sometimes I do :)

This guy was like Mr. Sammon's long lost great uncle or something.  He had the SAME dance moves as him :)

I love this picture of this girl.  She had really good moves as well. haha.

Monday, Monday

Hey all!  So today is Monday, which means I will be in Minnesota in 2 days!  WOOHOOO!  I absolutely cannot wait to go home, especially because its for my sisters wedding! 

So today I'm blogging photos of the wonderful Ashley Means.  She is so gorgeous and I had so much fun photographing her!

The Roundhouse

So today, I went on the weirdest field trip of my life.  We went to this place called "the Roundhouse"  and let me tell you, it was quite the experience.  I don't even know how to describe it to you because it was just like something I've never seen/experienced before.  The lady that lives there gave us quite the story about how it was made.  She said that when she was younger she decided to go about living in a different way; going against the institution I think is how she put it.  She became a hitch hiker and she brought her stories to any one who would listen.  Through her travels she met a man who kind of became her groupie.  He later told her that he had money and decided to give it all to her.  She later had a couple "visions" that told her she needed to build a round house.  So that's what she did.  This house was crazy.  It had 4 stories and was FILLED with just stuff.  I think there was probably 20 beds in there and lots of secret passageways and little nooks.  And it was quite dusty.  And dirty.  And we couldn't wear shoes.

Kirstie & Chris

I have another ADORABLE couple to show you all!  Vanessa and I photographed Kirstie and Chris last week and we had such perfect weather and we found some pretty awesome locations as well.  I am SOO excited about the pics I got from this session, Kirstie and Chris were definitely comfortable in front of the camera and struck all the right moves and poses for us :)  They are so cute,  I just wanted to keep shooting!  They have both been such a great help to me, especially Kirstie---I have been lucky to photograph her a few different times and let me tell you, she knows how to work it!  Ok so here are a few I'm loving right now, I definitely have a ton more I want to share with you guys though!

Cali & Kelly

Hey guys, sorry about my lack of blogging this week.  But I think today's pics will make up for it......hopefully :) 

So I photographed Cali and Kelly a couple of weeks ago.  It was a super fun session and they both make taking photos so easy!  So thanks again guys!  And thanks for Vanessa for assisting me :)

Hey all!

Hi everyone!!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  The weather out here in Mass held up pretty nice considering the weather reports said it was going to be cloudy and possible rain.  I had a super busy weekend; I still don't think I've recovered yet!  On Saturday I 2nd shot my first wedding of the year!  It was super easy to get back in the swing of things and now I'm just super excited for all the weddings the rest of the year will bring! 

On Sunday, Vanessa and I photographed a bunch of GREAT girls!  I haven't got a chance to go through their pics but I am feeling pretty good about them.  The girls were all so much fun so it turned out to be a great day. 

Today we had an AWESOME guest speaker, Bill Diodato.  He actually brought his assistants, a super gorgeous model AND a professional make up artist.  It was awesome to see the model do her thing and the make up was phenomenal!  The pictures Bill took turned out so great, I'm definitely jealous!

Wedding Wednesday

Hey all!  Wow these past few days have been gorgeous here in Mass.  I have been able to enjoy the weather a little bit, but I don't have a lawn to really enjoy the weather to the full extent.  haha.  On Easter I was lucky enough to spend the day with Vanessa and her family.  We ate delicious food, layed in the sun AND even had an egg hunt where I placed 2nd.  Ok so here is some more pictures from Ali and Joel's big day.  The first four pictures are from the limo ride to the ceremony location.
